A CITY centre business is shouting its support for the BID with a giant banner across the front of its premises.
Napoleon’s Casino and Restaurant, in Bolton Road, is so keen for the BID to go ahead that is has installed the huge “Vote Yes!” sign to encourage other local businesses to get behind the project.
Jane Dodd, general manager (pictured with part of the banner), said: “To my mind, the BID is a brilliant initiative that can only benefit Bradford and its city centre businesses and, therefore, the whole community.
“So we decided to help shout the message out loud by putting up a sign that can be seen from a long way away. Anyone passing will be left in no doubt that we want the BID to go ahead and we’d encourage everyone else to support it by voting Yes!”
The BID would bring businesses together to create a legacy for the future, she said.
“Businesses should be proud to support the BID. We believe it is a great opportunity for businesses to come together for the benefit of everyone,” said Mrs Dodd.
“We hope the BID will help develop a more attractive environment for visitors and residents which will complement the amazing developents already taking place.”
Napoleon’s Casino & Restaurant, in Bolton Road, has been open since October 1979 and employees around 100 people. It is owned by A&S Leisure Group, a family-run, Yorkshire-based business.
