A SERIES of “drop-in” sessions will take place early next month to help businesses find out more about the BID project.
BID project manager Chris Gregory said: “We have put a great deal of effort into trying to ensure as many people as possible know what the BID is all about and what the details of our business plan are, with open meetings, individual visits, newsletters and widespread press coverage and so on, but with so many companies involved we know that there are some we still need to reach.
“We’re aware that some people, for instance, couldn’t make it to the launch of the business plan last month at the National Science+ Media Museum. It’s vital they know what this is all about, so we want to make it as easy as possible for people to find out more and, particularly, ask any questions they may have.
“So we have organised these very informal drop-in sessions to allow people to meet members of the BID project team and discuss any concerns or queries they might have.”
The first sessions take place on Tuesday, August 7, at 10am in the Digital Health Enterprise Zone, in Little Germany; 3pm, at the Tiffin Coffee Shop, at the Wool Exchange building, in Hustlergate; and 6pm, at the Sparrow Café Bar, in North Parade.
The following day, Wednesday, August 8, the sessions are at: 10am, at Smorgasbord, in Rawson Place; 3pm, in the Old Bank, Market Street; and 6pm at Bradford Brewery, in Westgate.
Mr Gregory said: “Even if businesses have been to one of the previous events or meetings and are still a little unsure or unclear about the BID’s plans, we would urge them to come along and quiz our team.
