As the current situation regarding coronavirus is having a huge impact on us all we at the BID want to show our support and the help on offer during what is an extremely challenging time for everyone. We understand the Government’s stance of ‘lockdown’ and only travelling away from home when absolutely essential but we also understand the impact this has on all of our businesses who have had no choice but to close until this crisis is over. Rest assured, we are working closely with other BIDs, the BID Foundation and with the Council to ensure we can provide the safest, most productive support for all our levy payers. We also wanted to make all of our levy-payers aware that the Bradford BID has not ceased working on your behalf in this short term situation. As you will have hopefully seen on social media the hot washing and chewing gum removal was done yesterday and the Interchange Ramp mural is now complete. The BID Office will also continue to work, all be it at home. After all the BID stands for ‘Business Improvement District’ so we want to help your businesses as much as possible even in times of immense adversity and know that we are here to help get everyone back on their feet once the situation allows.
We have provided you with important web links below to stay well-informed and to get all the information you need to help your business. There is also a copy of our Newsletter which goes through information that has come straight from the Government and NHS England and what the BID can do for you. This time of unsettling and uncertainty for us all will pass and we are here to support you all the way! Stay Safe, Stay Positive, Stay Well-Informed and Stay United!
We are keen to hear from our city centre businesses on how they are currently dealing with the situation and how we can help short term and longer as things progress. If you own/operate a business in the city centre please take 5 minutes to help shape the direction of travel for the BID for the next few weeks and months. The information will be held by the BID and any reports generated will be anonymous:
